SRT-4 Front Badge Install

Installing an aftermarket front badge on your Neon SRT-4 is a very simple process. However, I've written this short guide for those of us who may require a bit of assistance or just wanna see some pictures of the removal and install.

    Required Tools:
  • Small Flathead screwdriver
  • Masking Tape (optional)

Double sided tape is used to hold the stock SRT-4 badge in place and it's very likely that a new badge would attach this way also. There are various ways to remove this tape and peel the badge off the front bumper such as a fishing line. I've found that if you're careful enough you can achieve the same results by using a small flathead screw driver.

Begin by covering the badge's surrounding area with some masking tape. This will help you prevent damage to your paint in case of slipping or pushing too hard on the screw driver. Then just use your flathead screwdriver to carefully pull off the badge. The stock badge is made up of two part, the silver logo and a black background, it's no big deal if they come off separately, it can all be snapped back together if none of the small tabs are broken.

Once the stock badge is pulled off remove any extra glue or dirt from the mounting surface. Then just carefully center your new badge and stick it on.

Clean surface and install new badge

The whole process should not take longer than 5 minutes and can drastically improve your SRT-4's appearance. Be careful not to damage your paint and have fun!
